Antenatal Care
GP shared antenatal (pregnancy) care including regular reviews and six-week checks.
The qualified GPs will provide shared antenatal care with you. Your GP will make sure you receive the care you require through a combination of regular visits, six-week check appointments, and urgent reviews.
Shared antenatal care lets you see a GP you know and trust alongside your chosen hospital or midwifery team. Your GP can help with early pregnancy assessment, routine pregnancy bloods and screening, and ongoing monitoring, and will liaise with your maternity provider throughout.
